Note Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November in the diary for one of the best weekends of the year for people who appreciate handmade craft.
South Hill Park's annual Craft and Design Fair is back and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Enjoy and explore some of the UK’s best hand-made crafts and buy directly from the artists and makers that will be exhibiting at South Hill Park in Bracknell all weekend.
For more than 30 years the fair has held a reputation for offering a diverse selection of contemporary craft from local and national artists, who travel annually to visit the beautiful mansion and greet visitors from Bracknell, Berkshire and the surrounding counties to present their goods that boast no imports, no mass production, just simple honest craft.
The Craft and Design Fair Co-Organiser, Eryl Pearcey urges people to visit the arts centre on the weekend. She feels that people have a misconception about craft fairs and every year she meets new visitors who are astounded at the beauty and variety of the pieces that on offer at the pinnacle of artist-led work in the UK.
Specialist workshop spaces will be open for customers to have a good look around at what goes on during some of the courses. There will also be a number of workshops on offer for an extra cost to taste for yourself what goes on behind the studios closed doors.
Celebrate the best of British this month at South Hill Park in this extra special year for the nation. Treat yourself and wrap up warm for the rest of the winter with a homemade knitted scarf from the Craft and Design Fair or buy a perfect and unique Christmas gift for that special someone.
