SLOUGH: A members’ transport film evening is taking place at the Slough and Windsor Railway Society today (Friday).
The event starts at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £5 for members and £6 for non-members.
BRITWELL: A story and sheep craft is taking place at Britwell Library tomorrow (Saturday).
The event runs from 2-3pm.
IVER HEATH: The next litter-picking event in Iver Heath will be taking place tomorrow (Saturday).
Volunteers are invited to meet at the village hall car park at 10.30am.
High-visibility vests and rubbish sacks will be provided but people are asked to bring litter pickers and gloves if they have them.
HURST: A former Piggott School student is holding an arts exhibition at Dinton Pastures Country Park from Saturday.
Sammy Ostrowski, from Charvil, will be presenting more than 25 hand-drawn illustrations of pets and wild animals at the Dragonfly Cafe in the country park.
The exhibition will open from 8.30am on Saturday and run until Saturday, May 28. Entry is free.

MAIDENHEAD: A special event to mark Autism Awareness Day is to be held in Maidenhead town centre.
On Saturday, April 2, Stand Out for Autism will running a pop-up shop in the Nicholsons Centre, to raise awareness of the condition.
From 10.30am to 4pm the group will be running a tea and cake stall, face painting and a raffle, among other activities from the old GNC store unit, opposite 24-7 Game.
Businesses and other organisations are also being asked to show their support displaying posters, selling wristbands and accepting donations to be passed on.

SLOUGH: A BBC Get Creative event is taking place at Slough Library tomorrow (Saturday).
From 2pm to 3.30pm, visitors can learn tips and tricks from professional photographers and can get involved in a photograph ‘treasure hunt’.
The most imaginative photos could even be chosen to feature in a special exhibition.
SLOUGH: A self-defence class is taking place at Manor Park Community Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
Participants can keep fit while learning to protect themselves.
The class is run from 10.30am until 12.30pm at the centre, in Villiers Road.
WINDSOR: Browse produce straight from the farm at the Windsor Farmers’ Market tomorrow (Saturday).
The street market has been running in St Leonards Road since 2005 with a strong foodie following and local shops complementing the market.
The closest car park is at East Berkshire College off Trinity Place, a minute’s walk away.
It will run from 9am to 1pm.
ASCOT: Royal Ascot Racecourse is set to hold its annual Prince’s Countryside Fund Raceday on Sunday.
The event launched last year with the aim of raising money to help the charity carry out work to improve the prospects of family farm businesses and the quality of rural life.
This year’s fundraiser marks the conclusion of the Jumps Season at Royal Ascot and will feature a jam-packed card of highly competitive racing.
A host of countryside experts will also be showing off the very best of rural Britain.

SUNNINGHILL: Wildlife in Ascot is inviting green-fingered residents to help sow wild flowers and take part in the nationwide Grow Wild project.
Members of the environmental group will be preparing ground and sewing seeds at Victory Field Recreation Ground, in Sunninghill, from 3-5pm on Sunday. The event is free but you should bring a weeding fork or garden rake if you have one.
