OLD WINDSOR: See out the month at a disco which promises to be fun for all.
The Old Windsor Club’s February disco will take place tonight (Friday) from 6.30-8.30pm at the club in St Luke’s Road.
Anyone is welcome to attend and there is no entry charge.
As well as a raffle there will be games and prizes.
SUNNINGHILL: An adult pantomime of Carry on Cinders will be on at Cordes Hall in Sunninghill today (Friday).
The dinner and pantomime show will raise money for Sebastian’s Action Trust.

WINDSOR: The Queen’s 90th birthday will be the theme for this year’s Royal Windsor Rose and Horticultural Society (RWRHS) Summer Show, which is set to be officially launched tonight (Friday) at 7pm.
Master chocolatier Mark Tilling is among guests due to speak at the event at Gardeners Hall, St Leonards Road.
Now in its 111th year, the summer show features a variety of competitive classes including home baking, preserving, brewing, flower arranging and crafts.
It will be held on July 16 in the grounds of St George’s School in Windsor Castle.
Tickets for the launch event are £8 for non-members and can be bought on the evening from 6.30pm.

WINDSOR: A Chips and Chatter lunch is being held to give older men in Windsor the chance to make new friends.
The lunch is taking place at the Windsor Youth Centre, in Alma Road, today (Friday) at 11am.
It will feature a talk on crime prevention from Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator for Windsor and Maidenhead, Jeff Pick.
The event is organised by the Men in Sheds project which was started by housing company Radian to support men who have experienced life-changing events or face isolation or loneliness.

BRAY: A quiz night will be held in aid of The Royal National Lifeboat Institution at Bray Village Hall this Saturday.
The Maidenhead and district branch, run by a small group of volunteers, is organising the event which will include a home-cooked meal.

COX GREEN: It’s the final furlong for anyone who wants to support the Manor Green School Friends Association’s fundraising race night.
The event is scheduled to start at 7.30pm on Saturday at the school in Elizabeth Hawkes Way.
Entry is £12 per person and includes a choice of pizza or fish and chips.

ETON WICK: Stars in Their Eyes winner Gary Ryan will be performing at Eton Wick Football and Social Club.
The Neil Diamond tribute act will put on a concert tomorrow (Saturday). As well as the Neil Diamond favourites Gary will perform some of his own songs.
The concert starts at 9pm and costs £3 for members and £5 for non members.
MAIDENHEAD: Staff at the White Horse pub will be taking part in a fire walk on Saturday afternoon in support of a children’s cancer charity.
They will raise money for the Little Heroes Cancer Trust by walking across hot coals outside the pub in Maidenhead High Street at 3pm.
MAIDENHEAD: Anyone interested in becoming a firefighter will have the chance to test their mettle at a special taster event.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is looking to recruit part-time fire crews to provide cover at stations in Wargrave and Maidenhead, among others.
A session is due to be held at Maidenhead Fire Station, in Bridge Road, on Saturday from 9.30am.

TWYFORD: An evening of choral music will take place on Saturday to raise funds for a children’s charity and village choir.
Charvil-based Jewel Tones and The Reading A440 Choir will perform at St Mary’s Church, in Station Road, from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children, with proceeds going to choir funds and Daisy’s Dream, a children’s bereavement charity based in Twyford.

WINDSOR: Enjoy a scrumptious chicken korma or a piping hot vindaloo at a Scrummy Mummy Curry Night.
The event, taking place at The Castle Hotel in Windsor High Street, is being organised to support the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service.
It is billed as the charity’s ‘ladies night of the year’ and will also give guests the chance to win a range of raffle prizes. Tickets cost £25 for two courses.
The curry night is taking place tomorrow (Saturday) and will run from 7-11pm.

WINDSOR: Parents can raise money for people suffering in Syria by selling unwanted baby items at a table top sale in Windsor.
The sale is taking place tomorrow (Saturday) at The Firestation for Arts and Culture, in St Leonards Road.
It is being hosted by the Common Good Collective group which is dedicated to putting on charity fundraising events.
Stalls cost £15 to book and all money raised will go to UK-based charity Syria Relief.
The sale will be running from 11am-2pm. Admission costs £1 for buyers.

LANGLEY: A series of monthly canal side clean up events are due to start next month.
The first meet-up will be at Middlegreen Road Bridge on Sunday, March 6 at 9.50am.
It is part of a national campaign called ‘Clean for the Queen’ which calls for people to clean up Britain in readiness for the Queen's 90th birthday.
The event has been organised by the Friends of Slough Canal.
