Eileanór was nicknamed the ‘Cake Crusader’ by the Advertiser last year when she held a cake sale and raised £120 for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). This time she has decided to concentrate her efforts on a cause closer to home.

“I wanted to have a tea party for The Brett Foundation because I thought it would be nice to raise money for the homeless,” she said. “They don’t have a big house, clothes, food or money so I thought it would be nice to give the money to them.

“I’m looking forward to seeing how many people will come on the day, especially my friends from school. I’m also looking forward to licking the spoon when we have finished baking!

“I invited the Queen but she can’t make it, but that’s ok because my daddy is wearing a Minion outfit.”

The tea party will include a nail painting bar, book swap table, face painting and a raffle, as well as refreshments. It will take place at St Mark’s Methodist Church from 1-3pm.
