This week’s public notices feature two premises licence changes to a nightclub and a pub in Windsor, as well as plans for 50 homes in Stoke Poges.

Road closures

No vehicles will be permitted along part of B3022 Thames Street from its junction with Castle Hill to its junction with River Street next week.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate roadworks, namely a crane operation, and as a result, there is a likelihood of danger to the public.

It will be in operation from 9pm on Monday, February 9, until 6am on Tuesday, February 10.

A proposed order will prohibit any traffic passing through opposite 12 Kidderminster Road in Slough later this year.

The road closure is for roadworks and will begin at 12.01am on Monday, April 27, until complete.

All works are expected to be completed by 11.59pm on Friday, May 1, and an alternative route will be available for use with a local diversion sign at the location. Access will be maintained for all residents and businesses.

Licensing

Epic Bars and Clubs Berkshire Limited has applied to the council for a variation of a premises licence for Labyrinth nightclub at Jubilee Arch, Windsor.

The proposed variation is to extend the hours for dance performances (indoors), exhibition of film (indoors), performance of live music (indoors), playing of recorded music (indoors), other entertainment (indoors), late night refreshment (indoors) and Sale of Alcohol (on sales) until 03:30sm on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays (preceding a bank holiday Monday only).

No other changes are being sought for the site at Unit 15A Windsor Royal Station.

Elsewhere, Electric Nightlife Ltd has applied for a premises licence variation at The Sporting King in Peascod Street.

The licence includes the sale of alcohol on Sunday from 10am to the existing end time.

There will be no change to the Monday to Saturday alcohol hours.

The licensing variation also includes regulated entertainment from the existing start time on Friday to 1am and the existing start time on Saturday until 1am. This is an extension of one hour on Fridays and Saturdays.

The variation includes changes to and removal of conditions from Annex 2 and Annex 3 of the current premises licence.

Planning

The outline planning application for up to 50 residential homes in Plough Lane, Stoke Poges, has been submitted by Buckinghamshire Council.

Shanly Homes has proposed a housing mix of nine one-bedroom apartments, two six-bedroom apartments, seven two-bedroom houses, 21 three-bedroom houses and seven four-bedroom houses.
