FORMER England coach Kevin Keegan will soon be shedding his trademark white tracksuit top for the good of the sport in Henley. He will be auctioning his jacket when he speaks at a special sports dinner in March — six months after he was due to give it. The dinner is to raise funds for the youth football team that Henley want to introduce next season into the allied countries Mid-week Floodlit Football League.
Henley residents face a three per cent increase in the town precept next year. The rise will also affect charges in Henley Town Council car parks, the Fairmile Cemetery and rental of town buildings. The plans for the 2001/2002 budget will include and increase in the precept from £345,126 to £355.455.
