Plans to lower the speed limit of a road in Windsor and build more than 30 flats in Stoke Gardens in Slough feature in this week’s public notices.
Speed limit changes
The Royal Borough has outlined plans to reduce the speed limit from 40mph to 30pmh in either direction along the Dedworth Road from a point 61 metres east of its junction with Oakley Green Road eastwards for 289 metres.
Copies of the documents showing the proposals can be found at Windsor Library.
Planning
Slough Borough Council (SBC) has received an application to construct an eight-storey building, creating 33 flats with cycle parking and bin stores at Unit D, Stoke Gardens.
This would follow the demolition of the existing building at the site.
Elsewhere, an application has been submitted to re-develop land at Manor Farm and land north of Wraysbury Reservoir in Slough.
The plans include the demolition of the existing buildings to create a development comprising a data centre and battery energy storage system, with an ancillary substation, offices, associated plan and emergency back-up generators.
It would also feature associated fuel storage, landscaping, sustainable drainage systems, car and cycle parking and new and amended vehicle and emergency access from Poyle Road, as well as other associated works.
