A commemorative football match to mark the Christmas truce of 1914 will be played as part of the village's living advent calendar.
A mix of players from the Twyford Comet's teams will take to the pitch, along with a few brave parents, at Stanlake Meadow at 2pm.
Donations will be collected on the day in aid of Building for the Future.
Twyford Village Partnership's business forum leader Gordon Storey is delighted with the success of the Twyford 2014 Living Advent Calendar so far.
"I think including the Christmas Fayre and Christmas Tree Festival we have had over 7,000 people," he said.
"It's gone better than last year. There has been great turn outs."
He added that one of the highlights has been the National Theatre of Ruscombe's nativity production at the Royal Oak on Tuesday, December 9.
The village cast performed an unrehearsed script and Gordon said it had gone down brilliantly with the audience, as the pub was transformed in Bethlehem and a Shetland pony even made an appearance.
From Sunday, December 21, the events turn to more traditional church services as Christmas Day draws closer.
