Police launched a ‘visible poling’ operation in Windsor and Eton yesterday and caught out some drivers breaking the rules.
Thames Valley Police was involved in Project Servator – which aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism.
These officers are ‘experienced and specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.’
Project Servator is ‘a year-round tactic’ that is ‘not limited to major events’ and is deployed ‘frequently and unpredictably’ across the Thames Valley.
