Three men found with £90,000 worth of drugs on a working cannabis farm in Maidenhead have been sentenced this week.

Bruce Lee Clark of Kings Lane in Egham, Surrey; Harvey Drummond of West Road in Feltham, Hounslow, and Billy Houlihan of Fordbridge Road in Ashford, Surrey, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug, cannabis.

Clark, 46, Drummond, 25, and Houlihan, 33, were located within a working cannabis farm on Ascot Road on April 17.

More than 400 cannabis plants were seized alongside £2,500 in cash within the property.

The drugs seized had a street value of over £90,000.

The three men were handed the following sentences for being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B Drug in Reading.

  • Clark was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison
  • Drummond was sentenced to three years and four months in prison
  • Houlihan was handed a two-year suspended sentence and 300 hours of unpaid work, to be carried out within the next twelve months.

All three offenders were charged on April 18.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Kelly Davis, said the force was 'pleased' the offenders have been held accountable and 'now have time to reflect on their behaviour'.

“This sentence is the result of a thorough investigation by East Berkshire’s Priority Crime Team," she added.

“The production and supply of drugs causes harm within our communities and results in the exploitation of vulnerable people.

“The involvement of the three defendants in these offences showed no regard to the impact on the wider community.

“The information we receive from the public around drug supply offences in Reading plays an important role in developing intelligence, which helps our proactive investigations.

“If you have any information, we encourage you to report it to us by calling 101 or by reporting online on the Thames Valley Police website.”
