Police are asking a specific person to come forward who they believe witnessed a hit-and-run which left an 11-year-old boy with serious injuries.
At around 7.15pm on Wednesday, August 27, the driver of a black Volkswagen Passat hit the boy on Oatlands Drive, at the junction with Stoke Poges Lane.
At the time, he was while driving off even though police had attempted to pull him over.
After hitting the boy, the driver and passenger of the Passat continued to drive off, rather than stopping at the scene.
Now police are hoping the driver of a white long wheelbase (LWB) van, who was travelling along Hawthorne Crescent at 7.15pm, will step forward to help them with their enquiries.

Meanwhile, the injured boy has since been discharged from hospital.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Jessica Barker said:
“We are still appealing for witnesses who may have seen the Volkswagen Passat and its occupants either at the time of the collision or immediately after or who may have dash cam or CCTV footage.
“We are particularly interested in speaking to an individual who was driving a white long wheelbase van on Hawthorne Crescent at 7.15pm the same evening.
“[This driver] came head-to-head with the Volkswagen Passat as it fled the scene. We would please urge you to come forward and speak to us.
