Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following a firearms incident in Cippenham yesterday evening (Saturday).
Members of the public reported that an individual had discharged a firearm towards a vehicle, described as a black vehicle, possibly a VW Golf, on the roundabout on Richards Way and Little Chapels Way.
The offender who discharged the firearm is described as dressed in black clothing and wearing a bandana.
Both the offender and the vehicle that was reported to have been shot at left the scene.
Thames Valley Police received the reports at approximately 6.55pm on Saturday, September 27.
Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Sarah Noah, said: “I appreciate this incident will cause concern in the community, but I want to reassure residents that we are conducting a thorough investigation.
“There is a scenewatch in place to enable us to carry out forensic examinations.
“Police officers will also be visible in the area, carrying out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries.
“If anyone has information or footage from the area and hasn’t already spoken to the police, I would urge them to come forward.
