Father Of The Bride - The Mill at Sonning
Father of the bride Stanley Banks believes weddings should be simple affairs between two people who are very much in love.
So when his 'little angel' daughter announces her engagement and the guest list starts to grow and grow his household is thrown into turmoil.
The father-in-law-to-be must coordinate furniture movers and dressmakers and host cocktail parties with the in-laws-to-be.
He eventually sinks so low he offers his daughter a bribe to elope.
A delightful comedy gem created first as a play before becoming a movie most famously starring Steve Martin and Diane Keaton.
This production stars Evelyn Adams, Edward Elgood and Rachel Fielding.
The play is written by Caroline Francke and directed by Sally Hughes.
