Knitting nuts are being encouraged to do something crafty for charity by making 'mug hugs'.
Fairtrade and Traidcraft have launched the annual Big Brew fundraiser this week, encouraging individuals and community groups to raise cash by hosting coffee and tea mornings.
And this year, hosts are also encouraged to decorate their cups with a woolly holder.
More than 2,000 events were hosted as part of the initiative last year, raising more than £50,000.
Cash raised will go towards supporting small hold farmers in developing countries.
The Big Brew event will run until Sunday, March 10.
