A planning application for a pair of semi-detached houses in Stoke Poges features in this week’s public notices.
The proposal looks to build the new semi-detached homes on land to the rear of the former Plough Inn in Wexham Street. The plans also include provision for vehicular access, parking and amenity spaces.
According to the design and access statement, the proposal is comparable to the one submitted in 2017, which was initially refused, but subsequently granted planning permission after appeal.
Elsewhere, applicant Stoke Park Limited is looking to change the use of Garden Cottage in Park Road to serviced accommodation.
As stated in the application’s covering letter, the purpose of the changes is to provide accommodation which could run alongside Stoke Park Golf Club and provide a place for guests of the golf club to stay.
The plans do not propose any changes to the external or internal appearance of the property.
