MUSICIANS Chris While, Chris Leslie and Julie Matthews, alias St Agnes Fountain, will be playing their annual Nettlebed Folk Club gig at the Village Club in High Street later this month.
They have performed at Nettlebed every year since 2001. Chris While and Julie Matthews also comprise an award-winning duo and Chris Leslie has been with Fairport Convention since 1997.
Originally a quartet with the late David Hughes, “the Aggies”, as they are known, have played more than 3,000 gigs and appeared on more than 100 albums.
Their latest album, Flakes and Flurries, has lots of traditional and original Christmas tunes.
St Agnes Fountain play the Village Club in High Street, Nettlebed, on Monday, December 15 at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm). Tickets cost £24 in advance, £25 on the door.
