This deadline for One Slough community awards is coming up this August 2.
The initiative One Slough celebrates the work of volunteers in Slough through the use of an awards scheme.
One Slough is led by the Slough Council for Voluntary Service (Slough CVS) which has been involved in events celebrating volunteers since 2012.
The initiative was created at the start of the pandemic in 2020, aiming to provide services to Slough residents through the combination of skills between voluntary sectors and the Slough Borough council.
It is giving people the opportunity to nominate a charity, a volunteer group or someone who devotes themselves to charity, for an award.
All nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, August 2.
Awards will be granted for each section:
Volunteer of the Year
Public Sector Partnerships Awards
Group of the Year
Charity & Business Support Awards
Nominate someone at voluntarysectorawards.org.uk/nominate
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, November 17, accompanied by entertainment and dinner.
This will take place at Baylis House, Stoke Poges Lane, Slough SLB 3PB.
