COMPETITION: Create a gourmet burger for Gigney's in Windsor

To celebrate the opening of the new Gigney's Restaurant in Windsor, Gigney's and Express owner Baylis Media Ltd have teamed up to give you the chance to create your very own gourmet burger in our mouth-watering competition.

We are inviting you to invent your ultimate burger to win some amazing prizes worth over £400. So what are the key ingredients you’d choose to create your dream burger? Would it be a beef burger, chicken burger or veggie burger? What kind of bun? What kind of fillings and sauces would you choose? Perhaps bacon? Goat's cheese? Chilli? Or maybe even chocolate? The choice is yours, just tell us your ideas.

The winner will have the honour of seeing their burger concept created and sold to customers in the new Gigney's Restaurant in Peascod Street, when it launches on February 10. Not only that, you will also win a meal for two at Gigney's, an overnight stay for two at the prestigious Macdonald Windsor Hotel and a £100 gift voucher to spend in Daniel department store. Meanwhile, the runner-up will receive a 90-minute kayak tour courtesy of Windsor Kayak Tours as well as a meal for two at Gigney's to try their extensive array of gourmet burgers and cocktails.

For your chance to win, simply invent your own burger using whatever ingredients you wish and think of a catchy name for your new creation.

Working in conjunction with East Berkshire College, Gigney's Windsor is an innovative community focused restaurant that aims to help young people carve out a career in the hospitality industry as well as provide customers with a first-rate dining experience. The ground-breaking new venue will serve a range of delicious gourmet burgers using high-quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, where possible, along with a vibrant array of cocktails and beers.
