The Dime Notes: Powered by clarinet and swinging bass

The sounds of 1920s New Orleans jazz will be brought to Maidenhead in a clarinet-driven performance.

Four-piece band The Dime Notes will play stomps, blues and old classics.

The line-up consists of clarinetist David Horniblow, a well-known figure in European jazz, American pianist, composer and musicologist and Andrew Oliver, guitarist Dave Kelbie - accompanist in Evan Christopher’s Django a la Creole and John Etheridge’s Sweet Chorus, and bassist Tom Wheatley, who is known for his swing and versatility.
