The family of a Langley motorcyclist who died in a crash near Datchet said he will be ‘forever missed and loved by all’.

Emergency services were called to Riding Court Road at about 4.30pm on Wednesday, July 16 following reports of a collision involving the driver of a blue mini and a motorcyclist.

The rider died at the scene and Thames Valley Police has now confirmed his identity as 31-year-old Langley man Daniel Shipton.

A statement released on behalf of Daniel’s family said: “We are devastated at the loss of our son, brother and grandson Daniel. Dan was an intelligent man who loved his sport, motorbikes and his family.

“Daniel was a frequent gym goer and regularly did fitness training with friends at local gyms. Dan took a keen interest in clean eating, nutrition and body positivity and lived his life accordingly.

“Daniel will be forever loved and missed by us all.

“We would like to add our thanks to all emergency services for their support in this difficult time.”
