Police are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance in which a machete was used in Marlow.
The force received a report of a disturbance on Little Marlow Road at approximately 5am on Tuesday, November 18, involving around four people and two vehicles.
Two men exited one of the vehicles and attacked the other vehicle with machetes.
There have been no reports of injuries, and both vehicles and the people left the area a short time later.
All involved were wearing dark clothing.
Detective Sergeant Matthew French said: “We are aware incidents of this nature will cause concern in the community; however, please be assured that we have not received any reports of anyone being injured following this altercation.
“At this time, we believe that this was an isolated incident and may have been targeted.
“There will be an ongoing police presence in the area while we investigate this as a priority, and we are following a number of lines of enquiry.
“We are appealing for anyone in the area between 4am and 6am this morning, who may have witnessed groups hanging around Little Marlow Road, to please get in contact with us.
