A late-night attack on a man in Langley caused him serious head injuries and left him ‘confused and crawling’ along the street, police have said.
The man, in his 50s, was found in A4 London Road and near to Kedermister Park between 10pm and midnight on Sunday (June 22).
Police said he had been ‘discovered conscious but confused and crawling along the street’. He was taken to hospital where he continues to receive treatment.
Thames Valley Police has asked for witnesses to contact the force.
Investigating officer Detective Constable William Holbrook, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this assault in Langley.
“It is currently not known what the cause of the victim’s injuries are and so we ask anyone who may have information to please contact the force.
“If you have CCTV cameras or a video doorbell in those areas, or if you were driving in the area with a dash-cam, please check your recordings between 10pm and midnight on Sunday in case they have captured something that could support our investigation.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250314605.
“Alternatively provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
