The village's senior community was invited to Burnham Grammar School on Wednesday as pupils spread some Christmas cheer ahead of the holidays.
The visitors were handed hot drinks and freshly-made mince pies prepared by pupils in the Hogfair Lane school's food technology room.
Guests also enjoyed performances of seasonal songs from the school's choir and numbers from some of the entrants to Thursday's Burnham Grammar's Got Talent show.
The event was organised with the Burnham Health Promotion Trust, which helped to invite a cross section of about 70 residents to the school.
The trust’s administrator, Chris Billingham, said the annual event was to provide entertainment for people within the community who are elderly and might otherwise be on their own.
