Thames Valley Police has charged two men in connection with an attack at a petrol station which left a woman in a life-threatening condition.
Officers were called to the Shell garage, in Burnham Lane, in the early hours of Tuesday morning following reports of a woman suffering serious injuries.
She was taken to hospital where she remains at this time.
Matthew Smith, 24, of Iver, and Joshua Watt, 24, of Aylesbury, have both been charged with one count of wounding with intent.
The pair were due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.
