A pink gin infused with raspberries grown at Windsor Castle and mixed with a blend of sweet and fragrant botanicals has been launched.
The Royal Collection Trust, a department of the Royal Household launched Royal Windsor Pink Gin today.
The gin is spiced with piquant pink peppercorns and warming cassia bark, and features orange peel and rose petal which add a subtle sweetness.
Raspberries which have been hand-picked from across the Royal Estate in Windsor are then infused into the gin, giving it a fruity finish and vibrant pink hue.
The gin, which is garnished with fresh raspberries and orange peel, pairs with ginger beer for a fiery twist on the class Gin and Tonic.
All the profits made from sales of the gin go to the registered charity The Royal Collection Trust to aid in funding the care and conservation of the Royal Collection and access to the Collection through publications, exhibitions, loans and educational programmes.
Royal Windsor Pink Gin, 38 per cent ABV can be purchased online from today (Friday, February 17) at www.rct.uk/shop
It costs £38.00 for a 70cl bottle and is available from Royal Collection Trust shops in Windsor, London, and Edinburgh.
