Drug dealer who had £4,000-worth of cocaine is jailed

A prison sentence has been handed to a drug dealer from Slough after he was found to have £4,000-worth of cocaine in his possession.

Keithlyn Fleming, of Bideford Spur, was sentenced to two years and four months in jail at Reading Crown Court on Monday after admitting to being in possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

A police warrant was executed on April 22 at an address in Coniston Crescent, Slough, where they found a substantial amount of cocaine worth £4,000.

At the time Fleming was arrested, interviewed and bailed.

New phone evidence meant Fleming was then was rearrested on July 7 and charged. 

Investigating officer, PC Ryan Powell, of Slough CID, said: “Drug related offences are often the root cause of a number of other crimes such as theft or burglary therefore this conviction is particularly important in deterring and preventing crime in Slough and the surrounding areas.

“I am pleased with the sentence given to Keithlyn which I hope will act as a deterrent to others who feel drug-dealing is acceptable in Slough. Such criminality is not acceptable and will be challenged at every opportunity.”
