A sold-out crowd enjoyed a night of electrifying performances, heartfelt celebration and powerful storytelling at Slough’s Got Talent on Saturday.

Eight acts covering music, dance, comedy and instrumental performed across the two categories – under 16s and adults – on the night.
While each act left an impression, it was rising rapper TConz who reigned victorious with a moving performance exploring his relationship with his father.
Through his performance, TConz challenged perceptions of the rap genre, earning from praise from the judges.
Speaking after his victory, TConz said: “People that have never listened to the music I make or the genre in general told me that I’ve opened their eyes… it means more than they realise.”
Performer Aasritha, 14, was awarded the under 16s trophy after performing an original song that ‘moved the audience to tears’.
From Shraddha’s ‘dazzling’ dance moves to the classical-meets-folk fusion of Mayura Charitham and the theatrical vocals of Azariah Thomas, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The event reflected on the town’s creative diversity and talent.
A panel of local creatives and hosts took on the role of judges for the competition.
These included Sbba Siddique of Asian Star Radio, Paul Jr Watson of RASPO Steel Orchestra and Nikita Thakrar of DNC dance and yoga studio.
Jamie Green of SWIPE Music charity and Rebecca Richardson of Slough Music Service led the hosting duties on the evening.
