Thousands turned out to enjoy a festive drone show as it illuminated the skies above Royal Windsor Racecourse on Saturday.
More than 11,000 people gathered to see Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer come to life in an aerial display, produced by Lumina Drones.
Inspired by the original American TV classic, the show retold the story of Rudolph using hundreds of synchronised drones to create ‘vibrant animations and cinematic moments’.
AI and drone-swarm technology was combined with storytelling to deliver an immersive experience for guests of all ages.
Visitors to the show also enjoyed festive treats, including Santa’s Grotto, roaming entertainers, fairground rides and a range of food and drink options from local traders.
Andrew Dempsey, chief pilot at Lumina Drones, said: “It was an incredible experience for both our team and the audience.
“The moment Rudolph appeared in the sky and the crowd erupted was truly overwhelming.
“We’re thrilled with the response and are excited to bring many more of these magical shows to locations across the UK.”
