A prize-winning Malaysian concert pianist will be playing live at Norden Farm Centre after performing in prestigious festivals worldwide.
Hao Zi Yoh, a talented musician who began studying music at the age of 3, will be on stage in Maidenhead to perform a number of famous classical pieces, as well as her own compositions.
At only 12 years old she performed at the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York, and from that performance, she has travelled across the globe playing in popular venues, like the Southbank’s Royal Festival Hall.
Her international travels have been aided by multiple European top awards, such as EPTA Belgium, and performances with acclaimed orchestras like Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Baleares Symphony Orchestra.
Her work is noted for its ‘flexibility of rhythm’ (Christopher Axworthy), and ‘great elegance’ (PianoBleu), however her talent and ear for music are clear through her numerous awards and masterclasses with elite musicians and pianists from an early age.
Her performance at Maidenhead will be preceded by a performance at Bray St. Michael’s church on May 12, and she is also set to headline the Henley Festival alongside celebrities Beverly Knight and Will Young.
She will be playing acclaimed work from composers Schumann, Chopin, Rachmaninov and many others at the event, resulting in a 2-hour long show filled with a variety of electric and effortless compositions.
The show takes place on Wednesday, May 29.
