A legendary pianist and TV host is set to host a special concert at Windsor Racecourse this summer.
Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra will deliver a special open-air performance during the popular Summertime Live weekend in August.
This 'spectacular concert under the stars' features Gilson Lavis and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall, Sumudu Jayatilaka and will introduce Toby Lee.
Event organiser Jonathan Ware said the non-race day event has seen a huge response from people all over Berkshire, adding:
"We’ve been hoping to bring Jools to the area to perform for some time and we couldn’t be happier to have him joining our Summertime Live weekend this August.
"Tickets went on sale last week and the response so far has been huge. Jools’ popularity to people of all ages and music tastes really shows. It’s going to be a fantastic evening."
The event site will feature a variety of bars and independent food traders and concertgoers are welcome to bring fold-up chairs and blankets with them. Gates, bars and DJs kick off at 4pm.
The show on Friday, August 16 is open to all ages with child tickets available from £15 (ages 2 and under go free) and adult tickets are from £45.
Those looking to level up their night can buy VIP tickets with a premium bar area and posh loos.
The show begins at 6.45pm. For more information and tickets, visit: https://www.summertimelive.co.uk/joolsholland
