A ‘poetic symphony’ in the form of a written and spoken word festival will take place in Slough for the first time next week.
The EPF Poetry Fest is set to ‘captivate audiences with a day of literary delights’ at The Curve from 1.30pm on Saturday, December 2.
From interactive storytelling for youngsters to a ‘soul-stirring’ live event featuring acclaimed poets, the festival promises to be a celebration of creativity and community.
The EPF Poetry Fest will bring together poets, artists and book stalls from diverse backgrounds, and organisers, Empoword, said the event is a testament to the power of poetry to inspire, connect and uplift communities.
Event producer and artist, Desree said: "I hope participants take away an appreciation for the beauty and power of words. I would love for them to leave inspired, and have experienced a range of diverse voices.
"I also hope everyone feels a sense of connection and community, built through and inspired by being creative."
