A CHRISTMAS fair staged at Robert Piggott Infant and Junior Schools in Wargrave raised more than £9,000.

Hundreds of people attended the event, which was held in November and run by the schools’ parent and teacher association.

It featured a tombola, raffle, Santa’s grotto and stalls selling crafts, toys and games.
