Traffic round up: This week's road restrictions in Windsor and Slough

Here are some of the most significant road closures and traffic controls in operation in Windsor, Slough, South Bucks and surrounding areas this week.

WINDSOR

Windsor: Development works are scheduled on Mellor Walk until January 17, 2025, with multi-way signals from Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-1pm. For further details, contact Tom Hirst of Horizon Construction at 07826 970 439.

Oakley Green: Ongoing two-way signals will control traffic on Oakley Green Road until November 13, 5pm, due to South East Water’s utility repair and maintenance.

Dedworth: Roadworks and delays are expected on Dedworth Road from today, November 11 to November 13 with two-way signal traffic management for utility asset works by Openreach.

Windsor: Road closure for utility asset works is planned on Park Street from today, November 11 to November 24 by UK Power Distribution Ltd.

Windsor: Chapel Street will be closed for roadworks from today, November 11 to November 24 as part of UK Power Distribution Ltd’s utility asset work.

Eton: The Christmas Parade and Lights Switch-On will result in road closures on Eton High Street and Slough Road on Thursday, November 14, 5pm to 9pm. For more details, contact Paul Roach of Windsor and Eton Business Partnership at 01753 743921.


SLOUGH AND SOUTH BUCKS

Slough: Slough Road will experience intermittent road closures until January 22, 2026, to coordinate multiple works by Buckinghamshire Council. Advance signage will be erected two weeks before closures.

Slough: Ongoing two-way signals on London Road will continue until today, November 11, 11.59pm for Thames Water’s utility repair and maintenance works.

Wexham: Ongoing defect repairs on Black Park Road will continue until today, November 11, at 3pm. This work is being carried out by Buckinghamshire Council.

Slough: Ongoing traffic control with multi-way signals will be in place on Wexham Road until today, November 11, 11.59pm for utility asset works by euNetworks.

Colnbrook & Poyle: Traffic control with give-and-take management will be on Galleymead Road from November 11 to November 13 for Glide’s utility repair and maintenance works.

Slough: Delays are likely on Trelawney Avenue from today, November 11, 9.30am until Friday, November 15, 3pm with multi-way signal traffic management for statutory infrastructure works by CityFibre.

Iver: Sevenhills Road in Iver will have intermittent closures for bridge inspections coordinated by Buckinghamshire Council, continuing until May 4, 2026, with advance warning signage posted two weeks prior. The first closure was on November 7-9.
