A person has died on the train tracks at Iver railway station following an incident that brought emergency services to the station this morning.
Fire and rescue services, paramedics and British Transport Police all came to assist - but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
British Transport Police said in a statement:
"Officers were called to the line near Iver railway station at around 7.15am today (28 December) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Langley Fire Station firefighters from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were both in attendance.
