A street angel and a charity worker have had their contributions recognised.
Slough's MP Fiona Mactaggart welcomed Dave Nicks and Raja Khan to Parliament.
Dave was instrumental in setting up Slough's Street Angels last year while Raja volunteers with Aik Saath, the charity which promotes and encourages conflict resolution and community cohesion.
The duo were among 38 Community Champions honoured for their outstanding contributions to community life.
Each winner got a pair of tickets to the Olympics, which were awarded by British Airways chief executive Keith Williams and Olympic Gold medallist Denise Lewis.
Fiona said: "On behalf of the whole community, I would like to thank our champions for their commitment and dedication, and their contribution to Slough."
Dave is also a regular volunteer at the Slough Foodbank, which has handed out food parcels to over 1,000 people in the past 12 months.
Raja leads sessions aimed at teaching other young people about the dangers of prejudice and discrimination.
