Five people including a 17 year old boy have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Slough.
Officers were called to Hampden Road at about 11.20am yesterday (September 30) following a report that a man aged 19 had been stabbed.
He was given medical treatment but died at the scene.
Two arrests were made shortly after the incident, and since then, three further arrests have been made.
The details of the arrests are:
- A 17-year-old boy from Slough, arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a knife.
- A 21-year-old man from Slough, arrested on suspicion of murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a knife.
- A 19-year-old man from Slough, arrested on suspicion of murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a knife and possession of a class B drug.
- A 53-year-old man from Slough, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
- A 40-year-old woman from Slough, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All five are in police custody at this time.
An increased police presence remains in the area while our investigation continues, and a Section 60 order allowing officers extra powers to carry out stop and search checks is in place until 5pm today (October 1).
