UPPER Thames Rowing Club enjoyed a successful day at the Wallingford Head on Sunday, with the masters squad delivering a clean sweep of wins across multiple categories. In dry and bright conditions, the crews made the most of the calm water and produced some good racing.
The women’s masters E eight set the tone early with a win in Division 1 and the momentum continued throughout the day. In Division 2, the masters D and masters F eights each followed with strong performances of their own, securing further victories.
The success was rounded off by a good showing from the masters G eight.
