									This week’s public notices reveal how a council tax rise in the Royal Borough will affect areas across the borough.
Windsor and Maidenhead council approved an 8.99 per cent council tax rise at a meeting earlier this month after the Government refused its plea for a near 25 per cent rise.
The following breakdown, set to come into action from April, includes the additional council precepts charged by emergency services and parish councils.
Maidenhead and Windsor
For a band A property in Maidenhead, council tax will rise by more than £90; from £1,114.26 to £1,206.07.
A band D property in the town will pay an extra almost £138; now paying £1,809.12 up from £1,671.39.
Band H properties – the properties paying the most council tax in the town – see a rise of £275.46; from £3,342.78 up to £3,618.24.
Windsor residents will pay the same council tax as their equivalent property band in Maidenhead.
Bray
Band A properties in Bray will pay an extra £93 as council tax rises from £1,123.93 to £1,216.97.
Band D properties are set to pay £139.56 more than last year, seeing rates upped from £1,685.90 to £1,825.46.
Band H properties will pay £279.12, now paying £3,650.92 up from £3,371.80 in the year 2045/25.
Bisham
Bisham properties in band A will pay an extra £90.92 council tax in the coming financial year – a rise from £1,131.75 to £1,222.67.
For people living in band D homes, the rate will rise by £139.39 from £1,697.62 to £1,834.01.
Band H homes are set to increase to £3,668.02, a jump of £272.78 from last year’s £3,395.24.
Cookham
Band A properties in Cookham will pay £1,217.30 in council tax for the coming year, a rise of more than £91 on last year’s rate of £1,125.87.
Properties in band D will see a £137.16 increase on last year’s rate of £1,688.80, now set at £1825.96.
Band H properties are set for a £274.32 increase with council tax rising from £3,377.60 to £3,651.92.
Cox Green
For band A properties in Cox Green, the council tax rate has been set at £1,225.12 – a rise on last year’s £1,132.30 rate of £92.82.
Council tax for band D properties will rise by £139.24: from £1,698.45 to £1,837.69.
Band H properties are set for a £278.48 rise: from £3,396.90 to £3,675.38.
Hurley
Band A properties in Hurley are set to pay £1,204.40 council tax in the coming financial year – a rise of £92.11 from the previous rate of £1,112.29.
The rate for band D properties will rise £138.17, now paying £1,806.61 up from £1,668.44.
Band H properties face a £276.34 rise, now paying £3,613.22 up from £3,336.88.
Waltham St Lawrence
Band A properties see a council tax increase of £90.78 as the rate rises from £1,120.39 to £1,211.17.
Band D properties rise by £136.18 from £1,680.59 to £1,816.77.
And for band H properties, the rate rises £272.36 from £3,361.18 to £3,633.54.
White Waltham
In White Waltham, band A property owners can expect to pay £1,271.54 in council tax – a rise of £90.11 on £1,181.43 last year.
Band D owners will pay £1,907.32. an increase of £135.18 on last year’s rate of £1772.14.
Band H property owners will pay £3,814.64 in 2025/26 which is a £270.36 rise on the 2024/25 rate of £3,544.28.
