SALISBURY B go into the new year top of the Henley and District League following their latest win on Tuesday night.
The Henley-based club made it nine wins from nine as they defeated Unicorn 17-7. Second placed The Bird ran out 14-7 winners against the Three Horseshoes while Saracens beat Hare and Hounds B by the same margin, Salisbury A defeated Nettlebed 13-8 and Hare and Hounds A beat Salisbury C 15-6.
The latest league standings are as follows: 1 Salisbury B, played 9, 139 points; 2 The Bird, 9, 133; 3 The Saracens, 8, 100; 4 Hare and Hounds S, 8, 95; 5 Salisbury A, 8, 88; 6 Nettlebed, 9, 87; 7 Three Horseshoes, 8, 81; 8 Hare and Hounds B, 9, 75; 9 Salisbury C, 9, 58; 10 Unicorn D, 9, 48.
