Windsor Great Park Illuminated will return for its fifth year of lighting up the festive season with its award-winning, dog-friendly light trail from this week.
The trail invites visitors to wander through glowing canopies, sparkling fountains, and immersive installations, and continues to shine as one of the UK’s most enchanting light trails..
This year features an all-new trail design and Low Sensory Sessions.
Following the success of 2024, this year’s illuminations feature new installations, including the Windsor Express Train, Snowball Elves, Woodfest, Enchanted Forest, and a Water Show.
Opening on November 14 and running until January 3, the much-loved light trail is set to captivate visitors throughout the winter season with lights, projections and flood-lit fountains.
The trail will be revitalised with new installations and photo opportunities, including a Reindeer and Sleigh installation, as well as all-new selfie angel and bat wings.
Last year’s Field of Lights will be showcasing the Spirit Of The Park, and the Cathedral of Lights will be transformed into a festive Snowman Tunnel and the Enchanted Forest.
Windsor Great Park will transform into a Windsor woodland wonderland as guests follow a path awash with colour while wildlife and festive moments illuminate the way.
Along the way, guests can enjoy festive food and drink, toast marshmallows under the stars, and soak up the magic with family, friends and even their four-legged companions.
Also new for this season will be Low Sensory Sessions at Windsor Great Park Illuminated on Tuesday, November 25, for those who find the usual light trail format a little overwhelming.
These sessions will enable visitors to experience the event in a more comfortable and inclusive environment.
The lighting will be raised to highlight pathways and reduce the impact of the features, music will be lowered, and capacity will be limited to allow visitors to move more freely.
Super off-peak ticket prices remain frozen at last year’s rate, and this year organisers have doubled the number of sessions.
Popular dates for this special light trail sell out quickly, so booking is strongly recommended via www.windsorilluminated.com.
