An opening date has been announced for the controversial Tesco Express store in Furze Platt.
The shop in Furze Platt Road, which has taken over the former Golden Harp pub building, will open for business on Tuesday.
Work on fitting out the shop began in the winter.
This is following more than 18 months of backlash from campaigners who have fought to stop the opening with protests and a petition.
Tesco, which purchased the disused pub in 2012, has worked to restore a number of the building's original features.
A £500 donation will also be made to an as-yet unnamed chairty.
Store opening hours will be seven days a week from 6am until 11pm.
