The White Gallery Show in London, held earlier this year, is the bridal equivalent of London Fashion Week. It’s a glamorous showcase for the best bridal designers to debut their new collections and a chance to check out top trends for 2014.
The catwalk shows were opened by royal courtier Stewart Parvin. He made Zara Phillips’ wedding gown and is a favourite couturier of the Queen.
His chic new collection reaffirmed the designer's signature aesthetic of understated elegance, demure detail and sublime workmanship with quality fabrics. It was high fashion with a demure edge.
The emphasis was on chic, clean lines with added texture. Tone-on-tone embellishments add to the dresses without taking too much attention away from their sleek outline.
There were elegant empire-lines, fitted waists for an ultra feminine silhouette as a well as simpler short styles.
