A weekly social club bringing people together from across the community will be launched on Thursday, September 12, at Chalvey Community Centre in The Green.
The Mayor of Slough, Cllr Balvinder Bains, will be launching the Destiny Social and Skills Club at 10am.
The club will run every Thursday from 10am until 12pm and welcomes people with additional needs as well as their families and carers.
Cookery and IT classes are among the activities due to take place at the club, as well as a general get-together where people can meet new friends.
The project is supported by Slough Borough Council, Berkshire Community Foundation and Special Voices.
