Legoland will be hosting its first kids’ festival, called Springfest, from May 13 to June 5. A variety of family entertainment will be featured from jugglers and circus performers to popular Legoland characters.
Two new characters will also be joining for the spring festival and will be called Bumblebee Girl and Lady Bug Girl.
All guests will also be able to contribute to a Lego flower wall and even pick up a LEGO bumblebee to build at home.
SPRINGFEST will conclude with a weekend extravaganza during which Kidz Pop will perform on the Miniland Stage across the May Bank Holiday Weekend of May 30 to June 2.
In preparation for the festival, the Legoland Windsor Resort has recreated a Lego scene of Glastonbury Festival, including a 10cm high figurine of singer, Elton John; who is set to headline Glastonbury this year.
The festival scene takes tiny details into account, from miniature portaloos, tents, festival-goers mud sliding, and even a tiny recreation of the giant colourful letters that spell out the name of the Somerset-based festival.
The scene took model makers 840 hours to create and is made up of around 23,916 LEGO bricks with 8,580 used to create the new 65cm high Pyramid Stage.
