The Royal Borough has released a revised timetable for bin collections across Windsor and Maidenhead over the festive period.
Each year, the council announces changes to its usual bin collection timetable for Christmas and New Year, with normal service resuming on Monday, January 19.
The first change will see the collection date moved from Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25) to Monday, December 29.
Following that, bins will be collected two or three days later than normal in most cases.
Collections scheduled for Boxing Day (Friday, December 26) will instead take place on Tuesday, December 30.
New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, December 31) and New Year’s Day (Thursday, January 1) collections will instead take place on Saturday, January 3 and Monday, January 5 respectively.
A similar pattern will continue in early January, with the last of the revised collection days taking place on Saturday, January 17.
Residents are asked to take out their general rubbish and recycling by 7am on the day of the collection, but no earlier than the night before.
Only items inside the bins will be collected and any extra rubbish or recycling can be taken to the Stafferton Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre.

The council has stated on its website that the collections are subject to change in unforeseen circumstances such as major events and bad weather.

After the festive season is over, the council will once again be providing an opportunity for residents to dispose of their real Christmas trees.
Christmas tree collection points will be available around the borough from Monday, January 5 until Monday, January 12.
The collection points will be situated at:
Residents are asked to remove all lights, decorations, pots and stands before disposing of their tree.
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service will also be offering a service to dispose of real Christmas trees this January.
As part of its Christmas Treecycling initiative, volunteers from the hospice will collect trees and recycle them for residents who live in the SL4, SL6, SL7, SL8 and RG10 postcode areas.
Volunteers will pick up the trees from people’s homes in return for a donation to the hospice.
The tree will then be taken to the Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) where it will be chipped and recycled.
The chippings will be used on the college grounds and to help care for the animals at BCA’s Zoo.
The donations made to the hospice will help the team to continue providing specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families across the area.
Trees will be collected on Thursday, January 8, Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10. Residents are asked to book their collection by midnight on Sunday, January 4.
