Canine companions can get in the Christmas spirit with a special visit to Santa’s grotto.
The Old Windsor Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will be hosting its Santa Paws pet party on Saturday, December 3, and Sunday, December 4.
Visitors can take dogs to the shelter for a doggie photo shoot to pose for pictures with Father Christmas.
Last year about 150 people attended the one day event so it has been extended to two days for this time round.
Centre manager Kaye Mughal said: “Visitors can have their pooch photographed alone with Santa, or get the whole family involved for the ultimate Christmas card photoshoot.
“While guests wait for Father Christmas, they can try for a prize in the festive raffle, or stop for tea and cake amongst the tinsel.”
Guests will also get the chance to meet some of the dogs looking for new homes.
Admission to Santa Paws will cost £4.50, which includes one photograph. The kennels and cattery will be open as usual, with £2 entry for adults and £1 for children as usual.
The centre in Priest Hill will be open from 10:30am until 4:30pm.
