Marlow FC have launched a new u23 team and appointed an u18 manager

Marlow FC have launched a new u23 team to bridge the gap between u18s and the first team.

Harry Pelling, who has been coaching with the Marlow FC first team for a number of years, will manage the team.

First team manager, Mark Bartley, said: “The creation of the new under 23 team will enable us to progress young players from the under 18s to our first team in a structured manner.

“Making the jump from an Under 18 team to step 4 football is a very big challenge, and forming this new team shows the club’s commitment to developing local talent.”

The team will play in the Suburban league. Players interested in joining the team can apply via the club’s website or by emailing

Marlow FC have appointed Ciprian Pintilie as their u18 manager. Cirpri has returned to the club where he coached junior players having gained experience in adult football over recent years.

“I am very pleased that Cipri has rejoined the club to take up the challenge of managing our Under 18s,” said club chairman, Ian Benfell.

“This is a key appointment for us and completes the management lineup with Mark Bartley retained as First Team Manager and Harry Pelling appointed to take the new u23s”.

The team will face a challenge as they play in the Isthmian Youth League again this season. The club are holding trials on Saturday, July 9th.

Local players can register interest on the club’s website or by emailing
