Brian Aldridge has said he’s looking forward to a busy and golf-filled year after officially driving off as Maidenhead Golf Club captain for the 2024 season.
Brian, a member of the club since 1992, took part in the official drive in on Sunday, January 22 with the event watched by 125 members.
The Drive-in was completed as new ladies’ captain Gwen King and junior captain Sophia Vysata both stepped up to the tee and launched good drives.
Brian has served as a director on the board at Maidenhead Golf Club for the past four years. He plays off a handicap of 10 and his charity of choice this year is the Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP) based in Taplow.
With the support of this year’s ladies’ captain Gwen, Brian hopes the club will contribute a decent amount to a very worthy cause.
The Thames Valley Adventure Playground (TVAP) offers a range of adventurous, therapeutic, and educational activities for children and adults with all types of disability.
