Taplow United Women played in their newly sponsored jerseys for the first time on Sunday, winning 13-0 against Banbury Town Women to advance to the next round of the Thames Valley Counties Plate.
Wearing their new kit, sponsored by professional cleaning services firm, iClean, the women's team romped home to one of their most convincing wins of the season at Berry Hill and will be hoping the victory can spark another title challenge in the league.
They currently sit 12 points adrift of league leaders S4K FC Berks County Ladies after winning four of their opening seven matches, but last season they managed to stay in contention until the final weeks of the season before injuries prevented them from challenging for the title.
They're next in action at home to Eversley & California Women's reserves on Sunday, 2pm kick-off.
They'd love to get back into the title reckoning once again and are looking to recruit new players to help them do that. The team trains on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm at their ground in Berry Hill and they play matches on Sunday afternoons. For more information contact Sam Barwood at Sambarwood99@gmail.com.
