Maidenhead Marlins saw five of its swimmers qualify for the Swim England Open Water Championships, with Lucas Bryant claiming gold in his u16s 7.5k race.
Nicole Ryan was also able to finish on the podium, finishing third over the same distance, while other qualifiers from the club were Alice Jones, who was seventh in the 3k race, Anton Supov, who finished sixth over 7.5ks and Olivia Then who came 21st over 7.5k.
The first week of racing also took place at the Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships in Sheffield where the Marlins had six qualifiers looking to make an impact on the national stage.
Charlotte Burfitt had a particularly strong championships, setting personal bests in three of her races and going on to win gold in the u15s 200m Breaststroke.
In a close race she finished only 0.02secs ahead of the swimmer in second place.
Zachary Callinan also set personal bests in his two events as he finished third in the u13s/14s 200m Fly, while Lucas Bryant also showed his form in the pool by claiming silvers in the 1,500m and 800m freestyle events, achieving lifetime bests in all his swims.
Other swimmers competing for the Marlins were Johnny Ireland, who produced PBs in the 50m and 100m Backstroke. Anton Supov set a new personal best in the 1,500m Freestyle and Nicole Ryan was placed sixth and 12th in her 800m and 400m freestyle races.
The second week saw five more qualifiers compete in the Swim England Summer Champs with strong swims coming from club captain Alex Bacon and Josh Greenough. Both finished just outside of a place in the final and both instead competed in the reserve 200m fly and 200m Individual Medley for Alex.
Competing at his first national event, Dan Chen finished with a lifetime best and ninth place in the u14s event.
Anton Supov raced the 400m and 800m freestyle events and claimed new pbs in both, finishing sixth in the 18 years and over 800m.
While the focus was on the national championships in Sheffield, Alice Jones travelled to Swansea to compete in the Welsh National Championships, coming away with a personal best and two silvers in the 200m Fly and 1,500m Freestyle.
